Febrayer is a media network, based in Berlin, working in and for the Arab region and the Arab communities in the diaspora. Born in 2016, initially as a growing informal coalition of like-minded journalistic and artistic Arab media outlets, the network current member institutions are online media groups operating in Egypt (Mada Masr), Lebanon (Megaphone), and Syria (Al-Jumhuriya Collective), while others operate regionally, covering the Middle East and North Africa (Sowt.com).
BAYIMBA (Cultural Foundation) is a major force in Uganda's cultural life that seeks to bring about change in the status quo of arts and culture in Uganda and East Africa.
Beirut DC is a key player in an ecosystem of regional and global civil society organizations nurturing the power of film to achieve social impact and narrative change. Beirut DC was founded in 1999 when a group of Lebanese filmmakers and cinephiles, faced with a lack of funding, support, and emancipation opportunities, sought to create them for themselves.
Action for Hope (AFH) is a pioneering organization that offers innovative models for civil society work on the cross line between cultural rights, artistic creativity and social change. What about acces to artistic production as a cultural Right?
I work carefully and imperceptibly below the surface when it comes to freedom of artistic expression. Deep down I stand by those who want to break it but remind them of realities above the surface. At the same time, the water becomes shallower. This is my duty as a producer.

Mimetas vision is to give GIVE PEOPLE THEIR RIGHT TO FREE CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS, created on free terms and presented by independent institutions.
Our mission is to support and protect those who want to enhance a culture by aesthetic or intellectual means.
By both our vision and mission Mimeta highlight the impact arts have on developing open societies, including the culture itself and the political spfere.
On the strategic level Mimeta is acheiving results by supporting organisations and individuals who work on behalf of the arts, to improve the sectors´ position on rights issues, in political and legal matters, on professionalism and skills, the distribution of the arts and - in the end - the sustainability of the sector.
We call them the service providers to the arts.
